Treatment using devices

In childhood and adolescence, the bite is formed using special orthodontic appliances — either before braces or together with them. They help the jaws develop properly, create space for the teeth, and avoid complex treatment in the future.

In some cases, orthodontic appliances are also used for adults, in particular to widen the jaws and prepare for further treatment.

What we use at RIKOTA:

Marco-Rossa, Haas, Hyrex — to widen the upper jaw;

Myobrace appliances — for early treatment, breathing correction, and habit correction;

Distalizers — for moving teeth into the correct position;

Palatal expanders and Nance appliances — for stabilizing results;

Corrective plates — removable appliances for jaw growth and teeth alignment;

Facial mask — for upper jaw growth correction.

Each appliance is selected individually after a complete diagnosis.

The goal is a healthy bite today and fewer interventions in the future.
